RedBeanPHP 3.0 is the third incarnation of the RedBeanPHP ORM library for PHP. PHP is a wonderful language. It's easy to learn, and if written with care it is highly maintainable and pretty solid. Such a powerful language deserves an ORM tool that allows you to quickly develop stunning applications. RedBeanPHP 3.0 allows you to deliver highly robust enterprise applications that are compact and easy to write and maintain. RedBeanPHP 3.0 combines the ease of use of popular NoSQL libraries with all the advantages of SQL: power, robustness, transactions, views, schemas. RedBeanPHP 3.0 has been slimmed down to just 84 kilobytes, supports database specific data types like DATE, DATETIME and has native support for SPATIAL DATA TYPES in MySQL. Also, RedBeanPHP has a new test framework (code coverage almost 100%, more than 3000 tests). The new dup() function allows you to copy entire bean hierarchies in the database just the way you want it. The new export functions allow you to easily integrate RedBeanPHP with popular Javascript frameworks like ExtJS,Dojo,Cappuccino and SproutCore.
